Purpose & Aim	Kent boys Under 18 team represent our elite junior golfers. Handicaps range from scratch to plus with many of the boys competing at the highest National level.

Team Captain	Jack Swift Jack is a member at North Foreland Golf Club and Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club. He has captained Kent at all age groups since he first made the U14 team aged 11. That year he won every match to help Kent win the South East Boys League final. He’s represented Kent in the last three ‘6 man’ South East England strokeplay championships, winning twice to qualify Kent for the English County Finals. Individually he’s represented England multiple times, won the South East Junior Championship twice, and was runner-up in last year’s Men’s Kent Amateur Championship. On his appointment as captain, Jack said: “I’m honoured to be the U18s Kent Captain. The county have given me a lot of support through the years with coaching and advice, and also I’ve made great friends. We’ve got a great squad again and would love to get over the line in the County Finals this year.”
Training & Coaching	A number of coaching days and practise rounds are organised throughout the year aimed primarily at fine tuning shot making and short game skills. Competitive practise within the squad is encouraged as well as sessions with our specialised putting coach.
Matches & Competitions	The U18s play in the SE England League against Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex at home and away in order to progress to the Final. Our main aim is win the 6 man SE England Strokeplay team event in order to progress to the English County Finals. There are a number of training days, friendly fixtures, and a foursomes event, as well as a stand alone event for U17s.
