L to R: Valerie Crompton, Martin Guyton, Mandy Remy, Andrew Seale

1) Valerie Crompton

Meet our new Director who will represent us as the England Golf Voting Member and South East Group Representative – Valerie Crompton (Sittingbourne & Milton Regis)

"I took up golf, joining SMRGC 25 years ago. I served on the Board of Sittingbourne and Milton Regis Golf Club for 3 years, and I am currently an active member of sub-committees at the Club as well as Ladies' Pearson Captain for the Club. I am a keen sports person and have been a member of Gore Court Hockey Club since the age of 11, and I am a Vice President and Trustee of Gore Court. I work as an account director for a family run Agency, sourcing and running conferences and dinners Europe-wide. I am looking forward to working with the Board of Kent Golf, together with Sarah and her team, and understanding and becoming more familiar with how the County runs and integrates with England Golf.

2) Martin Guyton

Meet our new Finance Director – Martin Guyton (Nizels)

Martin has recently retired from the role of Chief Executive at tmactive, an independent charitable leisure trust operating a varied portfolio of facilities in Kent, including Poult Wood Golf Course. He was responsible for the overall strategic, financial, business, and operational management of the Trust, which employed over 500 local people with a turnover of £12m per annum. Martin is now working part-time in leisure consultancy, amongst his extensive travels and playing golf.

A lifelong sportsman, Martin is a past Captain at Nizels GC and has been an active playing member at the club for sixteen years. He lives locally with his wife and travel companion, Liz, and has two adult children, no longer living at home. He enjoys cooking and watching a wide range of sports.

3) Mandy Remy

Meet our new Finance Support Director – Mandy Remy (Littlestone)

"I worked for British Petroleum for many years and was able to take on very diverse roles during that time, which gave me experience in all fields of business. I took quite a long break from work when I had my daughter and was able to indulge in my love of riding horses and walking with my dogs. When I returned to work, I joined an Investment Company which was just starting to get established and stayed with them for many years until 2020, working as their Accounts Manager. I joined Kent Golf in 2021, and the role of Accounts Assistant evolved, which I have thoroughly enjoyed, but decided to retire at the beginning of 2025.

I took up golf in 2006 and joined my first Club, Westerham, in 2007. I undertook various roles on the committee at Westerham and became Lady Captain in 2013. I moved to Littlestone in 2016 and joined Littlestone Golf Club. I have served as Hon Secretary for the Ladies Section and am hoping to be confirmed in my new role as Lady Captain from September 2026 at the next AGM."

4) Andrew Seale

Meet our new Joint Director of Clubs & Communications – Andrew Seale (Mid Kent)

Andrew, born in London, spent his formative and schooling years in Kent before moving to Botswana to follow a career in newspapers and commercial printing. After 23 years in southern Africa, he returned to the UK in 2016 and has worked in the golfing industry ever since... 4 years at Lamberhurst as Assistant to the Secretary and just over 3 years at Mid Kent as General Manager. As well as gaining career experience, Andrew has served on multiple sporting club committees in various roles, including serving as President of the Botswana Rugby Union.
