Kent Pearson Trophy Finals Day (external competition) report

This year's Kent Pearson Trophy Finals Day was played at Shooters Hill Golf Club on Thursday 19th June.
The four semi-finalists this year were Royal Cinque Ports, Littlestone, Sidcup and Dartford. All the matches were very tight, resulting in Littlestone winning 3 out of the 5 matches against Royal Cinque Ports and Dartford winning against Sidcup.
After a short lunch break, the final between Littlestone and Dartford commenced in the soaring heat. Littlestone took an early lead, being 4 matches up after 11 holes. However, the first result came in with a win to Dartford, and this was then closely followed by a win for Littlestone, so all to play for. Littlestone then won the next 2 matches, giving them the result they needed, winning 3 out of the 5 matches to become the holders of the Kent Pearson Trophy 2024/25.

Littlestone now go on to represent Kent against Surrey, Middlesex, and Hertfordshire at the Inter Counties Pearson Final being held at Hadley Wood Golf Club on Monday 14th July 2025.
Everyone who has taken part in the competition this year wishes them luck and hopes they bring the Pearson Trophy back to Kent.
