Captain’s vs President’s Match report

Yesterday saw our annual Captain’s vs President’s fixture take place at the stunning Chart Hills Golf Club; a match that continues to be a brilliant part of the Kent Golf calendar.
This event gives our 1st Team the chance to go head-to-head with the Challenge Team in a competitive format. While the Challenge Team are yet to start their season, this proved to be ideal preparation in top-class conditions on a fantastic golf course.
The 1st Team have already had a couple of fixtures this season, and this match gave both squads the chance to work with coaches, build team spirit, and test themselves ahead of the Six-Man and the final fixture against Surrey in August.
Match Result:
The Captain’s Side came out on top with a 6–2 win – although many of the matches were much closer than the final score suggests. The standard of golf was exceptionally high, with great sportsmanship and real camaraderie on display throughout the day.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, and a special thanks to the coaches for their ongoing support, not just on the day but across the entire season.
