Invicta 10s & 12s report

Date published: 18 Apr 2025

Bright but chilly was the order of the day at Boughton, The Cave, for our second Invictas event of the year, where eleven U12s played 18 holes on the par 3 course and thirteen U10s did 9 holes before undertaking their usual skills tests.

Best score over the 18 holes was 72 by Harry Martin, closely followed by Alfie Loveday on 75. Rounding out the top three was Hayden Hoyle on 80.

For the U10s, best 9-hole score was an excellent 35 by Oscar Robertson, with runner-up Samuel Willis on 38. Third place went to Ralph Bridge on 39.

In the skills tests, Ralph continued his good form by winning the driving challenge whilst our best chipper of the day was Isabella Tricker. Most accurate putter was Oscar Robertson, and the overall skills winner was Max Perry.

Our thanks go to the team at Boughton for looking after us so well, and a special thank you to Dan for organising the skills tests and helping with the organisation (please make the chipping slightly easier next time!)

As always, we are very grateful to our Kent Golf volunteers who gave up their time to assist at this enjoyable event.

The next Invictas event will be at Hever Castle on 4 August.
