Kent Senior Men v Suffolk friendly match report

Kent senior men started their season with a solid 7-3 victory in the annual friendly against Suffolk at Purdis Heath Golf Club, Ipswich.

Wins for John Heywood (Sundridge Park), Frank Adam (Langley Park), Darren Ottaway (Wrotham Heath), Danny Curtis (Knole Park), Martin Farbrace (Sene Valley) and Phil Judge (Bearsted), plus halved matches by James Jones (Wrotham Heath) and Richard Tomlin (Sundridge Park), both recovering from 3 down meant Kent improved on last year's drawn match.
