Kent U16 Boys v Essex friendly match report

With a wet forecast predicted, it was with much relief to arrive at The Darenth Valley with the sun shining for our U16s friendly against Essex.
Essex brought a full squad of 13 players, our squad had 4 boys tied up in national fixtures, so we pulled upon the resources within our Kent academy.
It was a tight match throughout the day, bouncing from down to up and back again.
The wind picked up making the back 9 tricky. This seemed to work in favour of Kent, winning the match 9-4.
Great match, great company.
