Autism Acceptance Week Golf Events 2025 report

We have recently held five events specifically for young people with ASD (Autism spectrum disorder) during World Autism Acceptance Week.
This is the second year we have arranged these initiatives.
The afternoon taster sessions were held at Sundridge Park GC, Chart Hills GC, Upchurch River Valley GC, Stonelees GC, and Kings Hill GC.
The theme for 2025 was ‘colour’, so all of our PGA coaches had devised very imaginative and fun sessions, covering putting and chipping different coloured balls to the corresponding targets, followed by hitting longer shots on the range. We were blessed with lovely weather for the sessions, and it was lovely to see everyone happy and smiling!
Every attendee had a great time, and quite a few got the ‘bug’ and have signed up for regular sessions.
