Kent U14 Boys Squad pre-season report

The Kent U14 Boys Squad had a very successful first training day at the weekend at Hever Castle GC.
The session started with a lovely introduction from Team Coach Peter Parks, and then Team Captain Oscar Ford called each player up and presented them with their team kit.
We are very fortunate to have Event Caddie as an official sponsor for the Centenary year, the boys were very proud to receive and wear their kit.
Matt Cunliffe gave a very interesting talk on golf psychology, getting the boys to talk about how they deal with certain issues on the golf course and admitting their own faults.
This was followed by a hilarious range session where the boys were given full permission to heckle/shout during other’s backswings to help with blocking out distractions!
The session ended on the putting green working on pace control.
The next session is at Hever Castle at the end of April, with the boys looking forward to the first game of the season, which is away at Langdon Hills GC in Essex.
