On Sunday, Men's 1st Team played our first fixture of the season away at The Addington Golf Club.
After a really successful winter coaching programme, it was great to get out there and get some competitive golf under the team's belt.
Over the last couple of seasons, we have had several players turn professional; whilst we wish them good luck on their professional journey, it's given us the opportunity to see some fresh faces and some extremely talented young players come through and break into the 1st Team squad.
It’s great to see so many of the players coming through all of the age groups and Kent teams.
We played 36 holes against The Addington's Scratch Team in traditional county format. It was great to see some fantastic foursomes golf played and a lot of fun to play singles around such a great golf course. The course was in incredible condition, and the weather was unseasonably warm and sunny.
We're extremely grateful to The Addington for their hospitality and wish their Scratch Team good luck for the season ahead.
Next up, we are away to Essex at The Heron GC on Sunday 23rd of March.
