Today marks a very special day in the history of Kent Golf. On the 11 March 1925, a first meeting of golf club representatives from the county of Kent was held to establish a 'Union of Golf Clubs in Kent', later known as the Kent Golf Union
"Minutes of the Proceedings of a Meeting of Representatives of Golf Clubs in the County of Kent, held at the Golfers Club Whitehall on Wednesday the 11th day of March 1925 for the purpose of establishing a Union of Golf Clubs in Kent."
