Strictly's Anton Du Beke encourages women to play golf on the new Putt And Strut podcast

Anton grew up in Sevenoaks, Kent, and placed fourth on the list of the 2024 UK’s top 10 celebrity golfers, with a handicap of 1.4. The famous ballroom dancer turned judge is an avid golfer and a member of the prestigious Wentworth Golf Club in Surrey.
In one of the GolfNews interviews, he said: " I’ve been playing golf as long as I’ve been dancing since I was 13 or 14 when me and my mates used to sneak onto the second hole at Lullingstone Park in Kent, which was naughty. Golf is an incredibly sociable game, and I really miss the regular rounds I used to enjoy with Bruce Forsyth at Wentworth."
“I’m interested in getting women involved in golf a lot more,” he said. “Because my wife started playing golf, just after we met. She felt she better get interested in golf."
