Women in Golf Charter workshop report

‘How to get more women playing golf’ was the main subject of our Kent Golf workshop at Kings Hill Golf Club today. 40 attendees from clubs across the county heard presentations from England Golf and Kent Golf on subjects including the Women in Golf Charter, Golf for Her, junior girls, marketing to women, integrating new women into the club, and the tricky question of when to use the word ‘women’ and when to say ‘ladies’.
Lively discussion groups helped people at different stages of their journey to learn from each other and share ideas, and the buzz across the room was very encouraging for the future of women’s golf in Kent.
