Alexander has been playing golf since a very young age.
His current handicap sits at 0.9 and his home club is Knole Park Golf Club, however he is also a member of San Roque in Spain, which is his favourite place.
Last year Alexander won the US Kids European championships for the 2nd time, and he also came 9th in the U14 Reid Trophy – his biggest achievement to date. He has been fortunate enough to play in a World Championships at Pinehurst, and last year finished the season No. 1 ranked U12 in Europe.
Alexander is honoured to be selected as the Kent U13 Boys Captain, and he is looking forward to supporting the team throughout the season.
Meet our U14 Boys Team Captain Oscar Ford (Bearsted)
Oscar’s home club is Bearsted Golf Club, he currently plays off 3.2.
He has been playing golf from a young age, he is very passionate about the sport and would like to follow in his dad's footsteps and become a professional golfer one day.
Oscar has represented Kent for a few years now, and he is very proud to be given the opportunity to captain the U14 squad for 2025. He’s very much looking forward to the season ahead.
Arthur plays his golf at both Lydd Golf Club and Littlestone Golf Club.
He has previously captained the U13 and U14 County teams and has been taking part in County golf since the age of 10.
He has qualified to play in many County, National, and International tournaments, including two Junior World finals and a Junior European final.
When asked, Arthur said: "I am honoured to have been asked to captain the U16 team this year, and I am looking forward to a competitive year with a strong and talented squad."
Jack is a member at North Foreland Golf Club and Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club.
He has captained Kent at all age groups since he first made the U14 team aged 11. That year he won every match to help Kent win the South East Boys League final.
He’s represented Kent in the last three ‘6 man’ South East England strokeplay championships, winning twice to qualify Kent for the English County Finals.
Individually he’s represented England multiple times, won the South East Junior Championship twice, and was runner-up in last year’s Men’s Kent Amateur Championship.
On his appointment as captain, Jack said: “I’m honoured to be the U18s Kent Captain. The county have given me a lot of support through the years with coaching and advice, and also I’ve made great friends. We’ve got a great squad again and would love to get over the line in the County Finals this year.”
