Meet World's Number One Disabled Golfer from Kent - Kipp Popert

Date published: 6 Oct 2024

We are very lucky to have the World's Number One Disabled Golfer in the County of Kent. If you have never heard of Kipp Popert (Wildernesse), let us introduce him and his achievements so far.

Kipp was born with Cerebral Palsy and has endured major surgeries on his feet and legs. This didn't stop Kipp from following his dream and working hard on his game to become the most successful disabled golfer in the world. But the dreams do not stop there. Kipp wants to turn professional and compete on the European Tour - a feat no one else with disability has achieved before. This man is already making history, and there is more yet to come. We firmly believe that with his mental fortitude, Kipp can achieve anything he sets his mind on, and we wish him the best of luck in the sport going forward.

Kipp Popert is also an Ambassador to the Kent Golf Junior Disability Academies.
