Disability Family Day report

Saturday saw the annual Disability Family Golf Day at Stonelees. There were five families competing for The Ford Cup, with 20 golfers involved in total.
We met at the driving range, where Gary Bason gave everyone some last-minute swing tips to sharpen their game before heading to the five hole par 3 course. The format was Texas Scramble Medal and was played in a very friendly but competitive spirit. The competition was followed by a delicious BBQ for all players and family.
Many thanks of course to Gary Bason for all he does for the County and the lovely welcoming & friendly staff at Stonelees. And finally, our many thanks to all the players and families for being such good sports.
