Kent U14 Boys are through to the South East Final!

Kent's amazing U14 Team played their final league match of the season at the weekend on a very quirky and bouncy Boyce Hill Golf Club in Essex. It was great to be able to field the players who hadn't featured so far this year, and so all 14 have had some Kent Match experience in 2024.
Following an afternoon of superb golf, combined with some great scrambling, Kent came away with another fine victory, a few matches going down the windy par 3 18th in front of a large crowd of both home and away supporters. We beat both Essex and Hertfordshire and now go through to the very prestigious SE Final on Sunday 15th September, to be played at West Essex GC, where we will play against Suffolk and BB&O (Berks, Bucks & Oxfordshire).
Although the League matches are played 8-a-side (with 2 reserve matches), the Final is 10-a-side, which potentially could be favourable to us, as we do 'bat' right down to 10 and higher in our very strong squad.
Let's all wish the boys the very best of luck in the Final. Everyone of course is very welcome to come and support us on the day, first tee-time is 12pm, high noon...
