On the hottest day of the year (over 34 Celsius) seven Kent volunteers (Jane Marr, Alan Austin, Britta Nolle, Frances Edwards, Stuart Fullager, Paul Cannons, and Mark Ward) went out to Royal St. George's Golf Club for their 10-year course rating review. After 10km, 4.5 hours, and lots of water to drink, the data was collected for all relevant tees for the scratch and bogey players. Again, a lot of measurements, including fairway width, level of undulation and elevation, distance to penalty areas and bunkers, size of greens, and many others, were duly recorded.
