Women's 2nd team match v Surrey report

A gloriously sunny day saw the Women's 2nd Team battling Surrey in our first match of the season. The course played very well, but Surrey started the day strongly, winning all three foursomes matches.
Fielding mainly lower handicap players than ours, it was an uphill struggle, and despite our team playing some very good golf, Surrey maintained their form and took 5 matches in the singles.
Ali and Hannah played some really great golf with lots of birdies and finished a/s - well done Ali for stopping the whitewash!
