On Sunday, the Men's 1st Team took on Hampshire at Wrotham Heath GC.
The course was in incredible condition, a special mention must go to their Green Staff. They were out during the practice round to make sure the course was in first class condition during the FA Cup Final.
The two teams were extremely strong, and there were some very exciting match ups in the Morning Foursomes. Unfortunately, Kent started slowly and lost momentum over the first six holes, and sadly didn't recover. Kent trailed 3½ - 0½ at lunch.
Kent rallied strongly in the afternoon, with some notable performances; particularly from an in form Connor Bell, who was -7 when he shook hands with an extremely strong Charlie Forster.
The eventual score was a 7-5 Hampshire win.
We wish them luck for the season, and we look forward to seeing them at 6 Man in July. Our remaining league fixture is away to Surrey on August 18th at Purley Downs.
