Kent Senior Women win 5½ -0½ v Middlesex

Middlesex welcomed Kent to Muswell Hill Golf Club on a pleasant day with light winds and sunny spells. Earlier in the week, the course had been closed due to heavy rain, so we were fortunate that the green keepers had managed to bring the course back to a good standard.
However, this meant that the course was playing long due to the soft conditions, and we found ourselves hitting many approach shots with woods in our hands.
The Kent players were in good form and benefitted from playing a practice round the day before, running out convincing winners by 5½ to 0½.
Our thanks go to the club for a very warm welcome and some excellent catering.
