Men's Senior Team match v Surrey report

The Men’s Senior team had their first league match of the season against Surrey, hosted by the Wildernesse Club in Sevenoaks. As ever, a very tight match on a superbly presented course, but Surrey won 6-4. The quality of golf was very high, as befitting two of the top teams in the country, and Surrey being the reigning national Champions.
Danny Holmes (Rochester & Cobham Park) won his match 3/1, as did Andy Francis (Bearsted) by the same score, and Martin Farbrace (Sene Valley) winning by a comprehensive 7/6.
Steve Robson (Canterbury) on his senior team debut and Mark Haffenden (Langley Park) both had exciting finishes to their matches, ending up all square.
