Seniors Scratch Championship (Men) - Round 1

Sunday 22nd June 2025 - Littlestone-Championship Links, White Tees

FORMAT: 36 holes of stroke play over 2 days

VENUE: Littlestone GC

ENTRY CRITERIA

• GENDER: Male
• HI: Maximum handicap index 6.4 at closing date of entry
• AGE: Over 55 years of age at the date of the competition

PRIZES:

• The Champion will be the lowest gross score over 36 holes
• Prizes will also be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place
• Godden Salver (players over 60 years of age) will be held for one year by the player returning the lowest gross score
• Handicap Cup will be held for one year by the player returning the lowest nett score
• Over 70’s Salver (players over 70 years of age on date of Championship) will be held for one year by the player returning the lowest gross score in Round 1 of the Seniors’ Scratch Championship

ENTRY FEE: £65 (includes food on day 2)

CLOSING DATE: 8 June 2025 at 17:00. Late entries will not be accepted but may be added to a reserve list. Refunds WILL NOT be issued after the closing date

OTHER INFORMATION

• Tee times on Day 1 in handicap order and on Day 2 in reverse order from Day 1 scores
• Players must be a member of an affiliated Kent club. The Club must be your “home” club
• Caddies are allowed, other than a qualified PGA professional golfer
• Champion expected to represent the County in the England Golf "Champion of Champions" National competition at Woodhall Spa on 13-14 September 2025

• General Play Cards - 

In order to enter the KENT GOLF MEN’S SENIOR SCRATCH CHAMPIONSHIP an entrant must be:

In possession of an individual up-to-date Handicap Index® not exceeding 6.4 under the World Handicapping System™.

An entry may be refused if, in the opinion of the Championship Committee, a players Handicap Index is not reflective of their playing ability. This decision may be based on but is not limited to:

(a) a handicap record (most recent 20 scores) that contains more than 4 (four) General Play scores,

(b) a handicap record (most recent 20 scores) that contains less than 4 (four) Competition Scores, or

(c) an incomplete handicap record where fewer than 20 scores have been returned.

KENT GOLF reserves the right to contact the Club Handicap Committee to highlight the returning of General Play scores.
